Community and Parish Grants for the Common Good
Bridging the gap between those who can give and those most in need
Thousands of children and families in our communities rely on the services supported by the Common Good Foundation. Many of these projects are led by volunteers – food banks, emergency housing, community centres, family support work, hospital and prison chaplaincies and youth ministry.
That means, your money goes directly to those who most need it. Donate to our Caring Sunday Annual Appeal in July and help us to help those in need around you. Through the act of together, we can nurture the common good.
About the Common Good Foundation
The Common Good Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that is part of the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton. We exist to encourage people to live out Catholic Care in Action and our work bridges the gap between those who can give and those most in need. Our grants programme hopes to empower smaller organisations that create a profound impact in their communities.

"Do not live entirely isolated, having retreated into yourselves... But gather instead to seek the common good together."
[Catechism of the Catholic Church 1005]
